All right, I’m back. Where to begin?? I’m an ESE teacher, (special education teacher) who is also trying to help any child who is classified as ELL or receiving ESOl support in the classrooms. I’m getting my certification in ESOL. I just finished the first class and the second class starts on Saturday. These poor kids who are coming from another country and just plopped into a middle of a classroom where they’re expected to learn and a teacher is expected to teach is an incredibly difficult responsibility for both parties. A lot of what I do to support a child with special education needs can also be transferred over to a student who has ELL needs.
