There are only two months left of school here in Florida. That is 8 weeks of learning, of testing and continuing the friendships they have made. As your child’s year is wrapping up you may notice some changes in behavior. Students will miss school and the routines they’ve learned to follow over the last school year.
Now is the time to ask teachers questions about the summer. What have you noticed about my child? What does my child like at school? See if you can connect with other parents.
Start thinking about what plans you want to make for the summer? If you have a routine it will make it easier for you to develop more independence skills. This will make it easier to transition back to school next year.
